打印本页 Pig meat import ban praised
AUSTRALIA - A leading pork organisation says it is pleased with the Federal Court's decision to ban pig meat imports from countries affected by disease.It is now illegal to import pork from countries with reported cases of post-weaning multi-systemic wasting syndrome.
Nigel Smith from Australian Pork Limited says that is good news but the organisation will continue its campaign against illegal importation.
