AUSTRALIA - The National Farmers' Federation (NFF) fears international retaliation against Australian farmers in the wake of the Federal Court decision to ban any new import permits for pig meat.Quarantine spokesman Keith Adams says concerns have been raised with the NFF, although he has stopped short of criticising the pork industry, which initiated the court action.
Mr Adams says other countries may use the court ruling as an excuse to challenge Australia's quarantine system, or block exports of our produce.
